Grants Manager

Shoshana Batya Greenwald serves as Grants Manager at The Carob Trust, where she supports Carob’s grantmaking and works closely with partner organizations advancing Jewish communal and civic life. Her work reflects a deep commitment to strengthening Jewish institutions and fostering thoughtful, values-driven philanthropy.

Before joining Carob, Shoshana worked across the nonprofit, philanthropic, and cultural sectors, with a focus on antisemitism advocacy and women’s leadership. She has consulted with a range of Jewish organizations and previously served as grants manager at Micah Philanthropies. Earlier in her career, she worked with museums and cultural institutions, including the Amud Aish Memorial Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Shoshana’s writing on Jewish life and culture has appeared in several publications, and her work has been published by MIT Press. She holds an MA from the Bard Graduate Center in Material Culture, Decorative Arts and Design History and a BA in American Studies from Stern College for Women.
